HabitMitra is operated by Rohit Kumar Pani under the brand name "HabitMitra".

By creating an account or using HabitMitra, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. What Data We Collect

Account Data: name, email address, login details, account settings and profile preferences.

Habit and Routine Data: routines, habits, schedules, completion status, streaks, missed reasons and progress history.

Focus Data: focus sessions, session duration, focus history and completion records.

Goal Data: goal titles, goal descriptions, deadlines, progress updates and linked actions or routines.

Journal and Notes Data: journal entries, daily reflections, personal notes, mood or self-reflection inputs if added by you.

Usage and Technical Data: app usage activity, feature usage, device type, browser or app version, IP address, crash logs, performance logs, analytics data and security logs.

Payment Data: if you purchase a subscription, payment may be processed by third-party payment partners such as Razorpay, UPI, banks, card networks, app stores or other authorized payment providers. We may receive payment status, transaction ID, plan details and settlement-related information. We do not store full card numbers or banking passwords.

Support Data: if you contact us, we may collect your message, email address, screenshots, issue details and support history.

2. Why We Use Your Data

We use your data to create and manage your account; provide routine, habit, focus, goal and journal features; show streaks, progress and consistency insights; sync your data across devices; send reminders and important updates; improve app performance, security and reliability; provide customer support; process subscriptions and payment-related records; prevent fraud, abuse, spam and unauthorized access; and comply with legal, tax, accounting or regulatory requirements.

3. Journal and Personal Entries

Your journal entries, routines, goals and personal notes are private to your account.

We do not sell your journal entries or personal routine data. We do not make your private entries public unless HabitMitra introduces a sharing feature and you choose to use it.

4. Cookies, Analytics and Tracking

HabitMitra may use cookies, local storage, session storage, analytics tools, crash reporting tools or similar technologies to operate the platform, keep you logged in, improve performance, understand feature usage and secure the service.

If we use third-party analytics or advertising tools, they may collect limited technical and usage data according to their own policies.

5. Notifications and Communication

We may send routine reminders, focus reminders, goal reminders, account-related messages, security alerts, subscription or payment updates, product updates and support replies.

You can control some notifications through app settings, device settings or email preferences where available.

6. Sharing of Data

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share limited data only with trusted service providers who help us operate HabitMitra, such as hosting providers, database or storage providers, analytics providers, payment processors, email or notification providers, crash reporting providers, customer support tools, and security or fraud-prevention tools.

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, government authority, legal process, fraud prevention, security protection or enforcement of our Terms of Service.

7. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration or disclosure.

However, no online platform can guarantee 100% security. You should keep your login details confidential and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as long as needed to provide HabitMitra services.

We may retain certain data for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, backup or compliance purposes, even after account deletion, where required or permitted by law.

9. Account Deletion and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your HabitMitra account and associated data through the in-app option, website option, or by contacting us at privacy@habitmitra.in.

When you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal data linked to your account, except where we need to retain limited information for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution or compliance purposes.

If your subscription is active, you may need to cancel the subscription before or along with account deletion to avoid future renewal, depending on the payment provider or app store rules.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to access information about your data, correct inaccurate or incomplete data, update your data, delete your account or personal data, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and raise a grievance regarding data handling.

HabitMitra is not intended for unsupervised use by children.

If you are below 18 years of age, you should use HabitMitra only with the consent and supervision of your parent or legal guardian.

HabitMitra may contain links or integrations with third-party services such as payment providers, login providers, analytics tools or support tools.
